Judith Anesi, MD MSCE is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Infectious Diseases and a Senior Scholar in the Center for Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics (CCEB) at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Anesi is board certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases, and is a clinical attending in Transplant Infectious Diseases at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. She is the recipient of federal grants from the NIH and the Antibacterial Resistance Leadership Group for her research on the clinical and molecular epidemiology of bacterial infections among solid organ transplant recipients, with a particular expertise in donor-derived bacterial infections and multidrug-resistant organisms.

Dr. Anesi received her medical degree from Weill Cornell Medical School of Cornell University, and performed her internship and residency training in Internal Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital. She completed her fellowship in Infectious Diseases and a Master of Science in Clinical Epidemiology degree at the University of Pennsylvania.
